12: The paper-cut world
02-09-2018
Once there was
A paper-cut world
Hidden from the rest,
It never showed signs of being there
Nor signs of immersive tests.
It lay beyond the black, black sky
Eased in between painful shears;
A city of shadows
With grey, tarnished gallows
And concrete-slabs for years.
Never they spoke
Of tale untold
Of our colored machines
They also deemed
That we seemed
Destructive and misled.
