Some
people rarely dream, some dream all the time, some never dream - or
so they claim, because in fact everyone dreams, it's just a question
about remembering. As humans we have the privilege of remembering and analyzing our dreams and their meanings, whether we want to interpret it in a self-reflective context or a spiritual one. It separates us from the animals.
But sometimes, just sometimes, dreaming and remembering goes too far. It can severely impact your life to dream every single night and remember it like events from yesterday. It creates a sort of split world reality, exactly how it would feel jumping in and out of the Matrix. And not everything you experience is random or casual every-day events. Nightmares that cause you to yell in fear while you sleep, wake you up with a heartbeat as if you'd been out running and keeping you awake until you pass out from exhaustion. Sometimes you don't want to fall asleep either because you know it's going to fuck you up, but you still pass out from exhaustion at some point.
Anyway,
this is my chronological collection, as chronological as it gets,
thanks to Facebook, where I've recorded most of these dreams. As per
September 2018, I stop recording on Facebook and instead use my
website and collect them in this valley of dreams. You might think it's awfully personal to read someone else's dreams, but I've found that mine are very entertaining and enlightening. A lot of popular culture is referenced in my dreams and of course friends and locations that I've been to in my life, mainly in and around my city Aarhus and Denmark.
I will provide the Danish version as well as the English, and while translating
I've tried to stick as much as I could to the original dream content.
Some dreams are more detailed than others, while others are short buzzwords or sentences.
Also, it's worth mentioning, that some periods of time seem to be dream-less. This is not the case. I most likely just didn't record it anywhere and can't find them anymore.
The most recent will show at the top while the older ones are the last due to the dates they were recorded, of course.

It started with a wellness stay in a swimming pool where I met an insecure lady who told her she was being stalked by a guy in the hotel where we were. He had a wrong idea of their relationship and wanted to get in touch with her all the time.

I dreamt I had to save people from a KZ camp in Nazi Germany. It worked well getting people over the fence thanks to a rubber door mat, but the plan failed a bit when our map directed us to a beach. We could have used a better escape route. And then there were zombies everywhere other than the beach. Stress.....
Nightmare as a mix of Silent Hill and A Handmaid's Tale, in 50% of the accumulative 3 hours of sleep I've gotten *dead*
I dreamt that I ate too much salmon with one of my mother's piano pupils whose big brother came and picked him up playing Ironic by Alanis Morissette, which we sang so loud that my mother came out and hushed us down. I dreamt that Martin and I were on our way home by bus but we took it in the wrong direction of where I lived, so the bus driver let me come back after we had let Martin off. But somehow, we never reached home and I had to stay at the driver in his very small townhouse in Åbyhøj...
Dreamt I was at NorthSide (music festival in Aarhus), and everything was good until they announced that A Perfect Circle had been replaced by Medina (Danish, in my opinion mediocre, singer).
I dreamt Jon Snow's mom was a mechanical wolf, and there was crazy much snow in my backyard, so it tried to eat the trees and me, but I got away and showed it how to light a fire. Then Jon Snow came and said we had to go sailing on Gudenåen (a river in Denmark), where we caught an elk who sang karaoke....
Full-blown post-apocalyptic nightmare with both dictatorship states after nuclear war and lawlessness in areas outside where also hordes of zombies rule and eat both humans and animals, so hunger drives the survivors.
